Hi, I’m Kelly. I started Deputy Dot Business Services in 2020.
Having spent over 15 years of my career as an Operations Manager, I’ve had the privilege of launching and supporting over a hundred start-up businesses, assisting them in their journey to scale and grow.
This experience paved the way for me to transition into freelancing in 2020, and I now specialise in providing automation and administrative support for financial professionals, coaches and course providers. I understand the levels of complexity that running such businesses entail, and the need to streamline as much of the processes as possible, without losing the personal touch your clients deserve.

Having spent the majority of my career helping small businesses to launch and then grow in a sustainable way, means I have the skills and expertise to identify core areas I can help with, and then to put plans in place to ensure your goals are achieved. As DDBS grows, so do the services and expertise I can offer. My team of fellow VAs and freelancers ensures you receive the best assistance and expertise.
My passion lies in analysing and automating processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness for my clients. I’ve now extended my operations by collaborating with a flexible team of fellow VAs, allowing me to offer a wider range of services and expertise to clients including general administration to newsletters and blog writing.
Credible & Responsible
In addition to being ICO registered and DBS checked, I have cyber insurance and professional indemnity insurance. My AML is overseen by HMRC and I am also a member of the UK Society of Virtual Assistants. Any VAs who work with me are also insured, ICO registered and AML if needed.

This consultation is free of obligation or cost to you.
If I believe that another team member would better align with your needs, we may schedule an additional call to introduce them and ensure your satisfaction with the collaboration.
After sending a contract outlining the work, including a nondisclosure agreement, rates, and working hours, I will then issue an invoice for the initial retainer period.
Upon receiving payment, I will arrange a kick-off meeting with you (and the VA if necessary) to establish initial tasks, time frames, communication preferences, and other pertinent details.
This marks the beginning of the actual workload!
I will request that you handle some back-office administrative tasks, such as setting up an email address for us, granting access to your communication and document storage tools, or specifying any software you want us to utilise.
Password sharing can be facilitated through Bitwarden, or your preferred password manager.
With every new client, it's typical to go through a startup process, which involves numerous inquiries about your brand, preferred tone, and more frequent requests for work reviews than you might initially anticipate.
This process is aimed at understanding your brand better. As we collaborate further, we aim to align more closely with your expectations, which should reduce the number of questions over time.
